“Is it too late? / Have we lost faith? / It’s probably the weight of loneliness / Trying to make sense / Of our innocence / It’s so hard to stand up and fight,” Tiffany Desrosiers sings on her debut single. “You never know what influence one song can have,” she affirms. With a brilliant capacity for breathing life into lyrics and melodies, Tiffany Desrosiers reveals the sound, soul and spirit of a world-class vocalist on the edge of eminence.

Tracking her debut CD with the writing/producing team SOS Productions, Tiffany collaborated as a songwriter on 5 of the 12 songs. A notable cover song on Tiffany’s album is Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah” as Tiffany creates a signature interpretation of the song’s dramatic complexity. “The lyrics contain scriptural references with elements of sensuality. The melody is so haunting and there is so much that can be done with it.”

Raised in a suburb of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada and encouraged by her grandmother, Tiffany made her entrée into performing with music, acting and dance classes. From her center stage debut at age nine, numerous opportunities and accolades followed. As first runner-up in the David Foster Star Search, Tiffany impressed Jaymes Foster, (Foster’s sister) who praised her “tremendous voice” as well as her ability to “work the stage and connect with her audience.” The Foster connection continued with an invitation to perform Foster’s “The Prayer” at the Victoria Independent Film Festival and again, at a later date, to honor the composer/musician at “An Evening of Great Canadian Achievement,” presented by The Child Foundation.

Tiffany spent the summer of 2007 in a Los Angeles studio with Damon Elliott, (Pink, Beyoncé, Jessica Simpson); shared a benefit bill with Jackson Browne and Ben Harper; performed at the opening night of the Seth Riggs Vocal Camp, sharing the stage with Bobby Kimball. North of the border, she has been featured as a special guest with Destino, The Canadian Tenors, and she has shared the stage with Colin James. Lending her talents to a range of fundraising and charity events, Tiffany has endeared herself to a broad span of audiences, and she continues these musical endeavors as a member of the ensemble, Classical Nouveaux.

Also a student at the University of British Columbia, Tiffany finds it a challenge to balance the demands of her rapidly accelerating career with exams and studying. A vocalist who performs in a number of languages -- French, German, Italian, Latin, and Spanish -- Tiffany has been presented with multiple awards including first place in the National Category for Classical Voice at the British Columbia Provincials. She subsequently represented British Columbia at the National Music Festival in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada.

Soaring vocals, charming magnetism and sincere authenticity: Tiffany Desrosiers is an ascending artist who weaves radiant threads of pop, soul and classical influences into a luminous aural tapestry of power, performance and possibility.

Tiffany's first single is to be released to Canadian National Radio in May 2009. Her album is set to be released in June 2009.
